Join a Committee

If you’d like to join a committee or just have a question about any of them, just send us an email through the contact buttons below.

Adult Softball

16” softball will be played at the park and then followed with food and drinks.

Landscape

Volunteers help take care of the entrance sign areas. This can include planting perennials, occasional weeding and placing garland on the signs during the holiday season. Spot checks throughout the park and islands would be helpful and appreciated to keep our entire neighborhood aesthetically pleasing for neighbors and visitors alike. A green thumb is not required!

Ladies Association

Recently known as the “Mom’s Group” this social committee organizes monthly outings ranging from fun and creative gatherings at neighbors’ homes, planned events at local venues and the swapping of information on valuable resources. Michelle Manley organizes the email distribution list for these events.

Bowling

Meet at the bowling alley for a fun evening of bowling with neighbors.

Area Reps

Area Representatives are invaluable to our association; there are 315 houses in Ridgewood, split between 10 areas. Traditionally these reps deliver all the invitations and fliers to your homes approximately 5-7 times per year. We are trying to deliver more messages via email, and only deliver paper copies to those homes that are unable to retrieve email easily. This will save time and copy costs.

Book Club

Gather every second Wednesday to discuss books chosen/agreed upon by participants. Deb Eskew maintains the email distribution list for book club meetings and updates.

Cabinet

The cabinet positions that traditionally need to be filled are the Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary. Meetings are held only once per year or as needed. The Vice-President takes over as President in the following year. The President and Vice-President work together to oversee the social events and are the go-to person for issues that arise in the neighborhood. The RCA officers try to keep you informed of what is happening with the Village so that you have a voice in what happens in your neighborhood.

Welcome

We are developing a committee to welcome new neighbors to the neighborhood. Ridgewood is a wonderful community and we want to make sure everyone in the neighborhood is aware of our events, activities, and stay up to date on local news.
